Be That One – An Inspiring Call to Action
An expansion of the Kindness Matters initiative by the EUSD Student Leadership, Class of 2027
Be That One is a student-led movement that challenges every student to go beyond everyday kindness by becoming the one person who makes a difference—the one who speaks up, includes others, shows empathy, and leads by example.
It’s about having the confidence to do what’s right, the compassion to care for others, and the courage to stand strong in the face of challenges. It’s about making smart decisions, choosing kindness over negativity, and showing that one person can truly inspire change.
Whether it’s standing up against bullying, helping someone in need, or simply offering a smile to brighten someone’s day, Be That One reminds us that a single act of kindness can create a ripple effect throughout our schools and community.
In short, Be That One means empowerment—choosing kindness, courage, and compassion, and leading by example every single day.
The EUSD Student Leadership, Class of 2027 is proud to expand this initiative by offering student-led presentations and mentorship opportunities at school sites across the district. These student leaders are passionate about promoting kindness, inclusion, empowerment, and positive school culture—and they are ready to inspire their peers through engaging presentations and peer mentoring.

Ser Ese – Un Llamado Inspirador a Acción
Una expansión de la iniciativa La Amabilidad Importa por el Liderazgo Estudiantil de EUSD, Clase de 2027
Ser Ese es un movimiento dirigido por estudiantes que reta a cada alumno a ir más allá de la amabilidad cotidiana, convirtiéndose en esa persona que marca la diferencia: la que alza la voz, incluye a los demás, muestra compasión y da el ejemplo.
Se trata de tener la confianza para hacer lo correcto, la compasión para cuidar de los demás y la valentía para mantenerse firme ante los desafíos. También significa tomar decisiones inteligentes, elegir la amabilidad sobre la negatividad y demostrar que una sola persona puede inspirar un cambio verdadero.
Ya sea enfrentándose al acoso escolar, ayudando a alguien en necesidad o simplemente ofreciendo una sonrisa para alegrar el día, Ser Ese nos recuerda que un solo acto positivo puede generar un efecto dominó en nuestras escuelas y comunidad.
En resumen, Ser Ese significa empoderamiento—elegir la amabilidad, la valentía y la compasión, y dar el ejemplo todos los días.
El Liderazgo Estudiantil de EUSD, Clase de 2027, se enorgullece en expandir esta iniciativa ofreciendo presentaciones y oportunidades de mentoría estudiantil en las escuelas del distrito. Estos líderes estudiantiles están apasionados por promover la amabilidad, la inclusión, el empoderamiento y una cultura escolar positiva—y están listos para inspirar a sus compañeros a través de presentaciones dinámicas y mentoría entre pares.
