Please see the survey results for the Reopening of EUSD Schools in August 2020. These results are based on the 2,000+ response we received in both English and Spanish. For information on alternative learning options, please be sure to read Superintendent George Eddy's message to parents.
Exeter Unified will be continue providing breakfast and lunch throughout the summer as part of our Summer Feeding Program. These are offered to ALL students up to the age of 18, regardless of free or reduced meal status.
Update- 5/28/20: I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones in good health. Many of us are still grappling with the changes that have impacted our community. Indeed, it is difficult. I continue to be impressed and thankful for the dedication of EUSD staff who are providing instruction, social and emotional support, and meals to our students.
We are dedicated to providing a warm, enriching learning environment where children reach their developmental milestones to become kinder-ready students.
Update- 4/9/20: Please review the online resources below and also the sample learning schedule for families. This is optional and is suggestion only. We know that many students are experiencing anxiety due to this situation and it is important that we remind our children and family members that we will get through this. Most people, especially children, find comfort in routine.
On Saturday, March 14, 2020, Exeter Unified held an Emergency Board Meeting regarding COVID-19. After careful consideration and out of an abundance of caution, our school board has moved to close Exeter Unified schools effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
Exeter Unified will be providing Drive Thru Breakfast & Lunch during the duration of school closures. These are offered to ALL students up to the age of 18, regardless of free or reduced meal status.
